STACEY BEAUPRE

I accompany women in labor to ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience.  As a birth and postpartum doula, I work for you and your baby, not anybody else.

I will assist you and your partner to help "normalize" certain aspects of the labor, birth and postpartum experience.

Stacey was inspired to become a birth and postpartum doula through the births of her two children, Adeline and Rowan. Stacey draws on her knowledge and experience to provide emotional and directional support to provide comfort for a birthing woman and her family.

Trained from the Chapman Family Center in Santa Monica, CA and certified with DONA International, Stacey is highly experienced with a variety of birth and postpartum environments including several years as an assistant to homebirth. 

She helps facilitate the birth journey including communication with hospital staff, reassurance and perspective on what's "normal", helping with relaxation, meditation, massage, positioning, visualization or just suggesting something as simple as a cool sip of water. She practices yoga and aromatherapy and can offer suggestions as appropriate.

As an postpartum doula, Stacey provides breastfeeding support, baby care support, light housekeeping, meal preparation and sibling assistance. She's a certified in Adult and Infant CPR and well as neonatal resusitation through professional health care training.
