Waterbirth
Waterbirth is being accepted as a safe, spiritually
fulfilling and physically relieving method of birth. It is an option available
in a home, birth center or hospital environment. Women who labor and or
birth water enjoy the freedom of movement, the way that water relieves
pain and the peaceful atmosphere provided by a birth pool. They often
believe that water provides a more gentle transition for life for the
baby who has been floating in amniotic fluid for nine months.
