Mary Logan PD
Postpartum Doula

"I want to tell you that Mary was an absolute blessing to have as our postpartum doula. I really do not know what I would have done without her help and advice. She is an amazing woman and made me feel confident during this transition. I feel at ease and knowledgeable after her help. I will recommend your services to all of my friends!" -- T.S.

Mary is our magnificent doula matchmaker and coordinator. Her role in these positions is to help every family find the right doula for their support needs. Mary will listen carefully to your birth wishes, help you find the right childbirth class or seminar, and match you with the perfect birth or postpartum doula.

Mary is also a postpartum doula. She loves to care for new mamas and to provide advice and support for successful breastfeeding and baby wearing. She will help the new or recently expanded family learn about their newest member and will provide continuous, loving support during the first three months after birth, also known as the fourth trimester. Mary received her doula training through DONA in 2008. She considers it an honor to serve families during one of the most important time in their lives, the birth and care of their newborn.

Mary grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. After graduating from high school, she moved to Oregon. She has traveled extensively and lived in South America on the Oregon State System of Higher Education study abroad program. She was graduated from Portland State University, where she earned a BA degree in Spanish, with honors. Mary has an extensive background in translating and interpreting. She is the mama of two beloved sons, Alejandro and Abel. When she isn’t working, Mary enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, taking long walks, and exploring the coast.

"Mary, we are so excited to have you help us navigate our new reality of motherhood and parenting." -S.H.
